At Aqua Envy we build our ponds to work with mother nature, not against her. All Ecosystem Ponds we install contain a natural balance of rocks & gravel, water filtration & circulation, aquatic plants, and fish. We offer a variety of different Ecosystem ponds ranging in size and budget.
Pondless Waterfalls
A pondless waterfall, also called simply a waterfall or disappearing waterfall, can be a small waterfall tucked into your front door entry way to greet your guests or a babbling brook with multiple falls coming down a hill in your backyard giving you the beauty and the sounds of water.

The Design Process
The water feature design and installation team at Aqua Envy is dedicated to creating the highest quality natural Ecosystem Ponds in the Chicagoland area. We honor and pride ourselves on creating aquatic atmospheres that appear to have been built by Mother Nature herself. It is our job to not only provide a beautiful water feature but to make the process as simple as possible and keep you informed along the way. Here are the steps to getting an ecosystem pond installed.
1. Fill out the form and upload pictures of your space - In order to provide you with an approximate estimate of the time and cost of your project, we’d like for you to send us some pictures of your space; that way we are able to gain a better understanding of the project.
2. Phone Conversation with Cody - Within 48 hours you will receive an email with a time to set up a phone conversation with Cody. He’ll ask questions about the size and scope of your project and questions like, “What do you want to achieve with this job?” as well as the just-as-important, “What are you hoping to avoid with this project?” At this time, he will be able to provide you with an approximate estimate (for FREE).
3. In-Home Design Consultation - Moving forward, we will schedule a meeting in the space of the project with all the decision-makers present. This is scheduled with a $150 fee that will be credited to your job if you decide to hire us. During this appointment Cody & Mike will be able to see the space first-hand, you’ll be able to discuss exact details of the project, and he’ll ask you a lot of questions.
After the consultation, we will provide you with a firm quote and description of the project, if you would like to continue with the job, we ask for a 50% deposit in order to schedule and hold an installation appointment.
What You Can Expect.
Once construction has started on your new water feature your home and yard will look like a MESS! There may be tools and rocks spread out, a mini-excavator, and dirt piles covering your yard. We call this “The Bomb”. Your yard and space may look like a disaster at the beginning of the project but rest assured that by completion we will leave you with paradise in your space!
