Aqua Envy Ponds is here to help prepare your pond or water feature for the Fall and Winter months, not only does it help your fish survive their winter slumber but makes your spring maintenance much easier.
Fall Netting Service
$415
Fall brings the changing of leaves, and eventually the falling of leaves. Excess debris like fallen leaves and sticks can lead to issues with water clarity and quality. In areas where high levels of debris are common, we recommend temporarily covering the surface of your pond with Aquascape Protective Pond Netting. This prevents large amounts of debris from ever reaching the pond.
Late September thru October Aqua Envy Ponds will provide and install a leaf net to catch leaves before falling into your pond or water feature.
During the fall netting service we will:
Cut back all aquatic plants
Remove dead lilies
Skim pond
Add Cold Water Beneficial Bacteria
Add a net over pond and waterfall to collect leaves
*Larger ponds will receive a custom price. Fall net is included in the price. If you have already purchased a net or have one of your own the price is $285. Please make sure you get the correct size net for your pond and stream.
Winterization Service
$95
Aqua Envy Ponds will get your pond or water feature ready for winter. Believe it or not, your pond can be extremely beautiful throughout the winter season! Fortunately, winter maintenance is minimal, requiring only a few simple steps to ensure a successful winter season. If you have fish, you must maintain a constant hole in the surface of the ice, allowing for proper gas exchange in your pond. This can be accomplished by using the Aquascape 300-Watt Pond De-Icer, coupled with an Aquascape Pond Aeration Kit.If you decide against running the pump through the winter, we recommend pulling the pump and storing it in a frost-free location. If your water feature contains a shallow stream or waterfall, we recommend checking throughout the season to eliminate ice damming if necessary. These simple steps optimize the health of your pond throughout the winter.
